Privacy Policy
WiseSeed is designed for families to use together on a parent’s device. Family activity stays local. We do not sell personal information, show ads, or build advertising profiles.
Effective date: September 7, 2026
- No child account, email address, or public profile is required.
- No social feed, messaging, bank connection, camera, precise location, or advertising SDK.
- No third-party product analytics SDK is included in the current app.
- A parent controls approvals, money settings, purchases, and external links.
Information stored on the device
A parent may enter a child’s first name or nickname, age, avatar choice, missions, completion and approval history, family contribution amounts, jar percentages and balances, notes, and app preferences. WiseSeed stores this family activity locally on the parent’s device. WiseSeed does not operate an account server that receives this activity.
Subscriptions and purchase information
If a parent starts a trial, purchases a subscription, or restores a purchase, Apple or Google processes the transaction and RevenueCat helps WiseSeed verify subscription access. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, device type and operating system, last-seen time, store receipt, purchase history, and related subscription information. WiseSeed does not send a child’s name, missions, jar balances, or family activity to RevenueCat.
RevenueCat acts as a service provider for subscription management. Learn more in RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy. Store purchases are also governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy or Google’s Privacy Policy.
Notifications and device features
With the parent’s permission, WiseSeed can schedule local reminders for approvals and Family Money Day. Those reminders are generated on the device. If Face ID, Touch ID, or supported device authentication is enabled, authentication is performed by the device operating system; WiseSeed does not receive or store biometric data.
How information is used
Local family activity is used only to run the WiseSeed experience: showing missions, approvals, pending promises, Family Money Day, jars, learning activities, and progress on that device. Purchase information is used to provide and restore subscription access, prevent fraud, and support billing.
Children’s privacy
WiseSeed is a parent-led family tool. Children use the app under a parent’s direction on the parent’s device. We intentionally avoid requesting direct contact information from children and do not knowingly collect a child’s personal information on WiseSeed servers. If you believe information was submitted in error, contact us.
Sharing and selling
WiseSeed does not sell or rent personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Subscription information is processed only by the services needed to provide store billing and access.
Retention and deletion
Family activity remains on the device until a parent removes a child profile, clears the app data, or deletes the app. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat retain transaction records under their own legal and operational requirements. A parent may contact us with a privacy request or a question about subscription records.
Security
Parent-only areas are protected by a PIN and, where enabled, the device’s authentication. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but WiseSeed limits the information it handles and keeps family activity off a remote account system.
Changes to this policy
If WiseSeed changes how it handles information, we will update this policy before the change takes effect and revise the effective date above.
